Playmat design, what would you want?
« on: November 03, 2018, 07:37:17 AM »
So I’ve been thinking about a playmat for Red Markets. The one on the site isn’t super interesting to me so I’m thinking about designing one. Assuming it’s standard playmat size (a 2:1 ratio) what’s useful to put on it?

I’ve so far got:
4 gear templates with space for charges
A rations space for charges
The negotiations track

But is there anything else that’d be useful?

A space for Will is a good idea.

A space for Will is a good idea.

I would suggest putting Will in a column with Haul and Refresh, since those are all potential based.

I've found that quick use skills like stealth and athletics are good to have right away in plain sight.

Maybe spots for yes/no effects like gassed, bleed out, starving, etc.

I understand some of my ideas are different than what others would want. When I hear playmat I think interactive character cheat sheet, so that is how my brain works.
