General Discussion / Re: Actual Plays

I'm running a day-zero campaign called Masada's Redoubt over on the Technical Difficulties podcast.
The players are former Operation Utility slowly (or not so slowly) turning Black Math.
Set off the coast of Washington State.

First episode:

I love this contract. Would you mind if this was run on one of the podcasts involved in the 10K Lakes campaign?

We haven't released the episode yet, and the YouTube recordings are for Patrons to listen along to as we record. Please take down the post.

the negotiator can turn down the Gift Spot? I only have the Backer Preview version of the rules handy right now (can get the full version once I get home), but the text says "but the initial gesture can't be denied without committing a social faux pas that cuts off negotiations altogether". I'm not even seeing a reference to resist the sway it generates. Am I missing something here?

Technically no, the negotiator cannot turn down/resist sway. If you're going strictly by the rules. That said, every GM is going to run things slightly different / have house rules at their table.

FYI, I'm planning to use some of these in a campaign I'm running for Technical Difficulties.

Drones do not have mounted guns - they'd be listed under Qualities if they did. Kamikaze is the only upgrade option for attacking. You could, if you like, create your own upgrades using the Designing New Gear section starting on page 244 of the Core Book though.

Easiest method is for Red to move down. Because Markets win ties. But adjudicate this however works best for your group. Just be consistent.

Sounds like it's going to be a brutal job. Well written!

Heck, no, I'm out! Providing emergency medical advice at reasonable rates if you run into problems out there too

Too many projects, too little time. I'm putting together a document to track all the subsystems I'm building (it also helps me clarify and formalize what I'm thinking) and then I'll talk to players, get buy in, and hopefully schedule some sessions.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad other folks like Tech Diff too!

No stories currently in the works for Pixie, Sarge, Oak, and Yew, but when I get back to writing, I will get back to the RM stories and Oak and Yew will continue as characters.

Current plan (I have to talk with players yet) is for the enclave to start on an island — maximize human population expansion and training. Good idea for non-coast enclaves though!

Hey all, I'm chronicling my thoughts as I develop a Black Math campaign set immediately post-crash, starting from before I get players, hopefully through play. Thoughts, comments, and feedback most welcome:

Immune with a sword called Brienne

Who's the artist? I might want to commission them someday.
